Day 1: Osaka Arrival
Welcome to Japan!
When you arrive at Kansai International Airport, our guide will meet you and take you to your hotel in Osaka.
Osaka, the major port city of the Kansai region of Japan, is famous for its food, fun, and nightlife. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city at your own pace.
Stay overnight in Osaka.
Day 2: Osaka to Koyasan
After breakfast, you’ll head to the peaceful and spiritual
town of Koyasan. The small mountaintop town is a religious center founded in the year 819 by the famous monk Kukai (also known as Kobo Daishi), and it is home to more than 100 temples and monasteries. Here you can well experience the Japanese Buddhist culture by visiting the ancient temples.
In the afternoon, you will the
Oku-no-in Cemetery, which is the most site in Koyasan. There is not only the mausoleum of Kobo Daishi, but also the largest cemetery in Japan. Walking through the beautiful wooded cemetery, you will feel the different beliefs and cultures of the East and the West. Afterward, you can also visit the famous Kongbuji Temple nearby.
You will enjoy a traditional dinner in the temple.

Day 3: Koyasan to Hiroshima
In the morning, you can
watch the monks pray before enjoying a traditional breakfast.
Then, you will travel to Hiroshima, a historically significant city marked by the explosion of the first atomic bomb in 1945.
You will visit the
Peace Park and
Memorial Museum in Hiroshima to reflect, remember, and be reminded of the power we all hold to create peace.

Day 4: Side Trip to Miyajima and back to Hiroshima
Today you’ll have a day trip to the sacred island of Miyajima to see the famous floating
Tori Gate that is set out in the bay.
You’ll take a ferry ride from Hiroshima to the island. There are many shrines and temples on the island. You can explore them at your own pace and have the option to
hike up to Mount Misen, the peak of Miyajima island.
After the day trip to Miyajima, you’ll get back to Hiroshima.

Day 5: Hiroshima to Kyoto
In the morning, you will take a bullet train from Hiroshima to Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan. Your local guide will pick you up at Kyoto Station.
After lunch, you will visit the impressive
Nijo Castle, the residence of the first shogun of the Edo Period built-in 1603. It consists of three areas, the Honmaru (main circular fortification), Ninomaru (secondary circle of defense), and the gorgeous gardens that surround both. You can learn more about the history of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After that, you will enjoy a
leisure walk through Gion, the most famous geisha district in Kyoto. There is a wide variety of Kyoto specialty stores and teahouses. You can also enjoy geisha (Kyoto dialect for entertainer) and maiko (geisha apprentice) performing here.

Day 6: Kyoto Tour
Today’s trip starts with a visit to the beautiful Fushimi Inari Shrine. You will wall through the 1000 Torri gates.

Fushimi Inari Shrine guide our path through the forest, up into the mountains, and to a sacred site that has heard prayers for prosperity and happiness since the 8th century. We continue to
Sanjusangen-do Hall and admire the minute detail of each of its 1,001 “thousand-handed” goddesses of mercy statues, then enjoy a walking tour of the Gion area. This evening, we indulge in a Farewell Dinner with your Travel Director and fellow guests.

Fushimi Inari Shrine is one of Japan's best known Shinto shrines.
Day 7: Kyoto to Hakone
After breakfast, you will head to Hakone.
Before arriving in Hakone, you will first visit
Lake Ashinoko. If weather permits, you can have a great glimpse of majestic Mt. Fuji.
Then you will travel to Hakone, a town famous for its onsens, or natural hot springs.
Stay overnight in Hakone.

Day 8: Hakone to Tokyo
In the morning you will take a high-speed train to Tokyo, the capital of Japan.
There are many things to do in Tokyo, one of the most energetic metropolis in the world.
You’ll explore Tokyo and experience the traditional soul hidden under the fancy look. Starting with a visit to
Tokyo Skytree, the highest tower in this city, to get a panoramic view over the fascinating city. And then go into the
Nakamise Shopping Street and
visit Sensoji Temple.
Then drive by the
Imperial Palace Plaza, and you will enjoy a stroll through the tranquil
Hamarikyu Gardens, an elegant Edo-period garden surrounded by modern high-rise buildings.
Stay overnight in Tokyo.
Nakamise is one of the oldest shopping streets in Japan.
Day 9: Tokyo Departure
Say goodbye to Japan. You are free to arrange your time before taking the scheduled transfer to the Airport.

There are two international airports in Tokyo, one is Haneda Airport and the other is Narita International Airport. Please confirm your arrival airport with us in advance.

Japan Travel Restriction
Japan tours have been reopened for international tourists on 10 June 2022. Overseas tourists can travel to Japan by taking a guided tour.
If you don’t have a re-entry permit, then you will need to apply for a new visa. You also need to register information such as quarantine, customs procedures, etc. on the official website in advance before arrival. You will need to provide an electronic certificate of a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours before travel. After successful registration, a QR code will be generated for you to use when entering Japan.
