Day 1: Tokyo Arrival
Welcome to Japan!
When you arrive at Tokyo’s airport, our guide will meet you and take you to your hotel in Tokyo.
The rest of the day if for you to take a good rest or have a leisure walk around the hotel to get a glimpse of the capital of Japan.

Day 2: Tokyo Tour
Today you’ll explore Tokyo and experience the traditional soul hidden under the fancy look. Starting with a visit to
Tokyo Skytree, the highest tower in this city, to get a panoramic view over the fascinating city. And then go into the
Nakamise Shopping Street and visit
Sensoji Temple.
Then drive by the
Imperial Palace Plaza, and you will enjoy a stroll through the tranquil
Hamarikyu Gardens, an elegant Edo-period garden surrounded by modern high-rise buildings.
Tonight, you will have
a leisure cruise on Tokyo Bay and
enjoy a Japanese dinner together with the supercharged lights of Tokyo on a boat.

Day 3: Side Trip to Nikko
Today you will enjoy a side trip to Nikko, where you can visit the
Toshogu Shrine, Japan’s most lavishly decorated shrine and the mausoleum of the Tokugawa shogunate. Toshogu was built in the 1600s. In fact, before that, Nikko had already been a center of Shinto and Buddhism mountain worship for many centuries.
After visiting the Shrine, you can
explore the small town of Nikko at your own pace before getting back to Tokyo.

Day 4: Tokyo to Hakone
After breakfast, you will take a bullet train to Hakone, a town famous for its onsens, or natural hot springs.
Once upon arrival, you will first
visit the sulfur vents of Owakudani by taking a cable car up the mountain. Then, you will
take a boat trip across Lake Ashinoko. If weather permits, you can have a great glimpse of majestic Mt. Fuji.

Day 5: Hakone to Kyoto
Today you will take a bullet train to Kyoto, the former capital of Japan.
Your local guide will pick you up at Kyoto Station and take you to the magnificent
Fushimi Inari Shrine, the most important of several thousand dedicated to the god Inari. Follow the pathway through thousands of vermilion torii gates that lead through a complex of shrines spread over a peaceful, forested hillside.

Day 6: Kyoto Tour
Today’s tour starts with a visit to
Kinkakuji, one of the most famous temples in Japan. Also known as the “Golden Pavilion”, the pavilion is completely covered in handmade gold leaf. Then you will visit
Ryoanji, a Zen temple that is a short distance from Kinkkakuji. You will appreciate the authentic Japanese culture in the most famous Zen garden in Japan.
After that, you will visit
Kiyomizu-Dera Temple. You will be amazed by the 13-meter-high building that was built without using any nails or joiners. From the top of the temple, you can have a great view of Kyoto.
At the end of today, you will
enjoy a stroll along the busy streets of the Higashiyama district by exploring the local stores, souvenir shops, small eateries, etc.

Day 7: Side Trip to Nara
After breakfast, you will depart for Nara to visit
Todaiji Temple and
meet the famous sika deer in Nara. You can also
have a leisure walk in Isuien, a prime example of a Meji-era garden.
After the tour, back to Kyoto. The rest of the day is free for you. You can get to the Nishiki Market, the ‘Kitchen of Kyoto’, where you can find many of Kotyo’s regional specialties. Also, you can walk to Gion, the most famous geisha district and cultural center of Kyoto. You can stroll along the traditional paths and perhaps catch a glimpse of an elegantly-attired geisha or maiko.

Day 8: Kyoto to Miyajima via Himeji
Today’s tour starts with a visit to
Himeji. Himeji is famous for Himeji Castle, the most beautiful surviving example of prototypical Japanese castle architecture. Also known as the “White Heron”, the Himeji castle was listed as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1993.
Here, you can explore the wooden beauty of traditional Japanese architecture and enjoy a leisure walk in the stunning gardens.
Then, you will take the shinkansen to Miyajima. On the sacred island of Miyajima, you will
see the famous floating Tori Gate that is set out in the bay.
There are also many shrines and temples on the island. You can explore them at your own pace and have the option to
hike up to Mount Misen, the peak of Miyajima Island.

Day 9: Miyajima to Kanazawa via Hiroshima
In the morning, you will take a ferry to Hiroshima, a historically significant city marked by the explosion of the first atomic bomb in 1945.
You will visit the
Peace Park and
Memorial Museum in Hiroshima to reflect, remember, and be reminded of the power we all hold to create peace.
Then, you will take a bullet train to Kanazawa.

Day 10: Kanazawa Tour
Today you will spend
a full day in Kanazawa and visit Kenrokuen, one of the ‘three most beautiful gardens’ in Japan.
Besides the famous Kenrokuen, there are also parts of the old castle town that are well preserved, such as the Nagamachi samurai district and Chaya entertainment district. You can explore the city at your own pace.

Day 11: Kanazawa to Shirakawago
After breakfast, you will take a bullet train from Kanazawa to Shirakawago. Together with the neighboring Gokayama,
Shirakawago was listed as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1995. They are famous for the traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses, some of which are more than 250 years old.
You can spend a day in the nice village and stay overnight at a local farmhouse.

Day 12: Shirakawago to Takayama
In the morning, you will transfer to Takayama and visit the old town.
The
old town of Takayama in Gifu Prefecture has preserved many unique buildings from the Edo period, and a variety of traditional stores are located here. When you walk through these medieval-style shopping streets, you will feel like traveling back in time to the Edo period with the most Japanese atmosphere.

Day 13: Takayama to Tokyo
Today you will take a bullet train back to Tokyo.
Your local guide will meet you at Tokyo Station and take you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you. You can visit the sights you missed in Tokyo before or go to the shopping street to buy some souvenirs for your family and friends.
Just enjoy your last night in Japan.
Day 14: Tokyo Departure
Say goodbye to Japan. You are free to arrange your time before taking the scheduled transfer to the Airport.

Japan Travel Restriction
Japan tours have been reopened for international tourists on 10 June 2022. Overseas tourists can travel to Japan by taking a guided tour.
If you don’t have a re-entry permit, then you will need to apply for a new visa. You also need to register information such as quarantine, customs procedures, etc. on the official website in advance before arrival. You will need to provide an electronic certificate of a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours before travel. After successful registration, a QR code will be generated for you to use when entering Japan.
